I'm not into horror films at all so couldn't help with any of your questions. But, I remember the first Nightmare on Elm Street terrifying me and my best friend when we watched it at a far too young age. Seeing it now it is cheesy, but when you're young and it's the first horror film you've seen it's horrific.
